Miranda Novak

Professor

Miranda Novak is an associate professor at the Department of Behavioral Disorders at the Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation Sciences. She is a psychologist by primary education and specializes in prevention science, focusing on promoting mental health and preventing internalized problems among young people. Recently, she has led several research projects related to positive youth development, including the Croatian Science Foundation's establishment project P.R.O.T.E.C.T., which tracks the 5C characteristics of positive adolescent development.


In addition to her teaching and research work, she actively works in counseling and, together with a team of colleagues and creatives, creates content for the platform Pukotine, funded by UNICEF Croatia.
