Dina Uglešić
Producer, film&TV director
Dina Uglešić was born in Zadar on November 11, 1998. After completing the Vladimir Nazor Language High School, she enrolled in the undergraduate program in Film, TV, and Multimedia Design at VERN' University, where she graduated in 2020 with the short animated film Balloon. She later completed a master’s degree in Film and TV Directing and Production at the same university, with her short fiction film Pater Familias.
In 2017, as a member of the informal film collective CEFGI, she worked on the first domestic feature film without a budget, Zagreb Equinox, which became the most-watched domestic film in theaters in 2020. To date, she has participated in numerous productions of short and feature-length fiction and animated films. Since 2020, she has worked as a production coordinator and executive producer at the production companies Studio Dim and PomPom Film.
In 2020, she was a jury member for the Giornate Degli Autori, held as part of the Venice Film Festival, and in 2021, she worked as a pre-selector for the same program. Since 2021, she has worked as a production and sustainability coordinator for the Zagreb Film Festival. She is the producer of the documentary series Dogs on Duty for Croatian Radiotelevision (HRT). Dina is a member of the Croatian Producers Association.
