Jan Juračić
Narrative Designer & Writer
Jan Juračić is a narrative designer and programmer with seven years of experience in the video game industry. With a master's degree in creative writing from Brunel University in London and a degree in architecture from the University of Zagreb, Jan begins his career in the video game industry at Gamechuchk as the lead game and narrative designer on Paws of Coal, which is set in 2023.
was a finalist of the CEEGA award in the category for the best narrative. At Gamechuck, he also worked on the design of Speed Limit, and designed and wrote the point-and-click adventure game vApe Escape.
As part of his freelance work, he participated in projects of local studios such as Room C and Gungrounds, and since 2023 he has been developing and designing the gaming section of a well-known media company. He is the co-author of a textbook on the development of AR/VR applications and has lectured on narrative and game design at the Edu4Games project of the University of Zagreb and at the UNITED POP academy. He is currently working as part of Bad Elektron on the development and design of the innovative game Eliria, which combines the city-builder and card game genres.
